There are a big network scam, specially in the chemical market in China, specially in Hebei.

Please compare two different company names:

Whenever you see the same phone number used under different company names, it's pretty much assured it's a scam

When they claim to be a major company dealing in $100k's or even $million, and yet don't have a $100 website, that's another indication that it's a scam.

We are a small comany operating out of Sydney, Australia. An FCL of oxalic acid was bought from Tianjin King Chemicals Co Ltd in Tianjin paid for by irrevocable LoC at sight, when the oxalic was received and we started production it was noticed there was a problem. When it was analysed it turned out to be 16.7% purity what we had contracted and paid for was 99.5% purity the rest was made up of manganese oxalate! All attempts to have the problem resolved have hit a brick wall even using our Foreign Minister to contact the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China. They were very helpful as was the Tinajin Commission of Commerce with whom I had numerous communications. A legal firm in Tianjin was given advice from me to commence proceedings against the company but hey, guess what? He couldn't find them, all information is now in the hands of the Tianjin Police but I'm not holding my breath for a result. China is Australia's biggest trading partner but the business ethics of the chinese companies leave a lot to be desired that's for sure.

Sorry you have been scamed, before you buy from China,it is better to do extensive research about the company you are going to deal with. Especiall y in Chemicals, this is the biggest scam field for many years in China.

I imagined it would be the same as doing B2B in Australia so on that score I'm rather naive but it was an expensive exercise that will probably put us out of business. It isn't so much the cost of the chemical but the cost of disposal through correct procedures is worth around 4 times the purchase price.

But if you do not do extensive research to find out what people you will deal with, you will not only lose money eventhough a small amount ,but also lose real business, and certainly you will not feel good by scamed
