Cry 2 years on and still getting msgs in NZ...

My daughter and I just received the msgs too. Now it's 400k in UK STG from Mr Evans with a Yahoo.UK addr and UK mobile num...Our ph numbers are same bar last digit, so looks like they just do sequential spam messaging. What surprises me (maybe not, really) is that so many people, including some on this site, are asking if it's legit or not !? Undoubtedly this means that quite a few people will in fact hand over the Ł500 fee...and the fact that this and other scams continue year after year says that there is good money being made by the perpetrators...

I got the same txt and email!

lucky I googled about it first..at first I was like, i'm sure this is a scam and it is!!I hope they find the people that are doing them and put them to justice!!

I just received a message for this scam as well. Email address has changed, and is now ilutrija@yahoo.com . Message reads:

"You won 400,000 POUNDS in the 2011 UK mobile draw Send your REF: NZ/04 to email: ilutrija@yahoo.com for more info to claim your money Mr. Austine"

It came from the phone number +447045794752

Just received this email, different contact name & numbers but same scam....

I knew it was too good to be true..When i saw that it was from thailand 1st though was its a scam and yet i come on this site and i am right Errrr this is what i got from them
