I was looking for a puppy a few weeks ago and received an email very similar to this one early this week. The guy's wife had died in an accident by a drunken driver and these were her puppies. It was too painful for him to keep the puppies (a boy and a girl) Of course, my heart melted for him and the puppies. I agreed to take one even though we just got one a week ago. He assured me to get to Alaska to my home it was only going to cost $150, which I found very hard to believe. I since started doing a little research and found this site. I have since told him to send the puppy and when/if I actually receive the puppy I will send him a money order for the $150. I was going to send a check but didn't want my checking account info out there. I will let you know if he sends the dog without me posting the money upfront and see how it goes.

I'm sorry you were scammed. The best thing to do is to post the name, email address, telephone number, website (if any) and Western Union receiver information of the scammer. You can file a complaint with Western Union or file a complaint with Cameroon authorities (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/...ad.php?t=28213) and/or the ICS3, however, your money is gone. I was looking for a puppy to add to my family. I found a puppy and all I had to do was pay the travel. Sent the money for the travel as I have had dogs flown in from other states before. Half was through the trip I received and "Urgent" email indicating that I needed to send additional monies for a health certificate. All along receiving text messages from the apparent owners. Sent the money and awaited the puppy. The next morning, the times she was due to arrive, I received another request for monies to "rent the crate and $400 for a rabies shot." I refused and was harassed by the "owner" all day. Accused of making a difficult day for the children. I assured them I would happily take the puppy but they have to pay the monies. This morning a received a text asking if I still wanted the puppy and told them yes but they would have to pay the amount to get her to me. I also informed them that I found this site, would be posting to it, reporting them to the newspaper where I found the add and filing a police report against them and the transport company. Beware of Cameroon companies offering to transport you pets or individuals from Alaska with puppies to adopt out for the cost of transport. Don't make the same mistake I did. I only wish I found this site before I sent the money only to have no puppy to show for it.
